The Center for Global Education within the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima, Peru invites applicants to apply for various positions as a Part-Time Professor beginning in August 2023.

The courses available are:

• • • • Introduction to Public Speaking
      • Environmental Sciences
      • Music Appreciation
      • Introduction to Business / Introduction to Management

The Center for Global Education provides students with accredited college degree from their partner college in the U.S. All of the courses within the CGE are taught completely in English.

Requisitos

Degree Requirements:

• • • • Master’s degree in the related areas of each course (see below)
      • Due to Peruvian legislation, all master’s degree needs to be registered in SUNEDU.
      • If you have a foreign degree, you need to present your apostilled diploma and proceed with the registration in SUNEDU.

1. Introduction to Public Speaking / Speech Communications:

Master´s Degree in Speech, Oratory, or Communication OR Graduate Degree AND 18 graduate credit hours in Speech, Oratory, or Communication.

1. Environmental Science

Graduate Degree in Environmental Science OR Graduate Degree in any Natural Science or Engineering AND 9 graduate credit hours in environmental related science or engineering courses, such as: Atmospheric Sciences, Botany, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geosciences, and/or Oceanography

1. Music Appreciation:

Graduate Degree in Music OR Graduate Degree AND 18 graduate credit hours in Music or Music History

1. Introduction to Business / Introduction to Management

Graduate Degree in Management, Business Administration or related subfield OR Graduate Degree AND 18 graduate credit hours in Management, Business Administration or related subfield

Minimum Qualifications:

• Native-level proficiency in English.

Desirable Qualifications:

• College-level teaching experience.
• Experience teaching non-native speakers of English.
• Ability to speak Spanish.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
